3M Allergen ELISA Test Kits are solid phase sandwich ELISA assays developed to detect specific allergen proteins in processed and unprocessed food products. Food manufacturers and quality control laboratories can use these kits to monitor allergen residues in raw materials, finished products, environmental swab samples, and post-cleaning (CIP) rinse water.

The portfolio covers more than 20 allergens including almond, peanut, walnut, hazelnut, cashew, Brazil nut, macadamia, pine nut, pistachio, pecan nut, milk (casein and total milk), egg white, fish, crustaceans, mollusks, soy, sesame, mustard, and tree nuts. Each kit is assigned a distinct catalog number with allergen-specific limits of detection (LOD) and limits of quantification (LOQ); assay times are typically 50 minutes. Results are obtained qualitatively.

Due to the multipurpose extraction protocol, separate sample preparation is not required for different analytes, streamlining laboratory workflow and saving time.
