Behr Labor Technik S1 Steam Distillation Unit

The Behr S1 is an entry-level steam distillation unit in the S series, designed to work with Behr InKjel burning systems. It is used for Kjeldahl method determination of parameters such as protein, nitrogen, ammonium, alcohol, volatile acids, and formaldehyde; suitable for food, beverage, feed, agricultural, environmental, and cosmetics laboratories.

The unit ensures stable operation with an automatic steam generator and pressure gauge, automatically controls tank level, and provides audible and visual alerts in case of errors. Standby mode offers cooling water and energy savings. With RS232/RS485 output, GLP-compliant reporting and printing can be performed. The S1 is the basic model of the S series; with automatic NaOH addition feature, it reduces manual intervention.

It can be used across a wide range of samples such as wastewater, milk, meat, grain, feed, manure, and beverages. For users requiring higher automation, S2-S5 models are available.
