Atago UG-α Digital Urine Specific Gravity Refractometer

The Atago UG-α is a digital refractometer specifically engineered for measuring urine specific gravity (S.G.). An upgraded version of the UG-1 model, this instrument delivers measurement results within 3 seconds after a sample is applied to the measurement prism and the START button is activated.

The device measures across the 1.0000-1.0600 S.G. range with 0.0001 resolution and provides ±0.0010 accuracy. Operating across a temperature range of 10-35°C and powered by a 9V battery (006P), the bright pink housing design is specifically chosen to prevent sample type confusion—clearly identifying this as a dedicated urine analysis instrument.
