Atago PR-40DMF Digital Refractometer — Dimethylformamide (DMF) Concentration Meter

The PR-40DMF is an Atago Palette series digital refractometer specifically calibrated to measure dimethylformamide (DMF) concentration. It serves as a practical solution for laboratories requiring concentration monitoring in synthetic leather/fiber manufacturing, textile processing, and DMF-solvent-dependent operations.

The instrument performs measurements across the 0.0–40.0% (W/W) DMF range with 0.1 Brix resolution and ±0.3% accuracy. Its 5–40°C temperature compensation range ensures reliable results under varying environmental conditions. The measurement procedure requires only a few sample drops and operates on a single-touch, rapid-readout principle for straightforward operation.

Powered by a 006P (9V) battery, the device weighs 270 g and measures 17×9×4 cm, facilitating portability in field applications and compact laboratory settings. A calibration certificate is provided with the unit. Note: the instrument does not feature IP65 protection; consequently, careful handling is advised in environments exposed to liquid splash.
