Biotek MultiFlo FX Microplate Washer and Dispenser

The Biotek MultiFlo FX is a multi-mode system that combines both reagent dispensing and microplate washing in a single instrument for 6 to 1536 well microplates. It is suitable for laboratories performing ELISA automation, cell washing/media exchange, bead-based assays, and concentration normalization experiments.

The instrument supports 96, 384, and 1536 well standard, deep-well, and PCR plates with peristaltic pump and syringe-based dispensing options; the washing function operates with an 8-channel manifold on 96 and 384 well plates and dedicated manifolds on other formats (6, 12, 24, 48 wells). The onboard software enables creation and execution of multiple protocols; computer control is provided through LHC2 software with optional 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and SiLA-compatible drivers.

Shaking (up to 60 minutes, variable speed) and soak (up to 60 minutes) functions can be integrated into protocols. The system is compatible with BioStack and third-party automation platforms, as well as the BioSpa 8 Automated Incubator, enabling inclusion in complete workflow automation. Two USB ports are available for protocol transfer and external device connectivity.
