The BioTek 405 TS is an automated microplate washer for a wide range of applications, from ELISA and cell-based assays to bead-based analysis. It supports 96 and 384-well plates (available in low-profile, standard height, solid-bottom, and filter-bottom configurations) with an intuitive touchscreen interface for protocol creation, editing, and execution.

The instrument features Verify™ technology for automatic detection of manifold blockages and the optional Ultrasonic Advantage™ module for ultrasonic manifold cleaning. This enables users to visually monitor failed wells and eliminates manual manifold maintenance.

The 405 TS offers low-flow-rate and angled-dispense wash modes optimized for weakly adherent monolayer cell cultures. It is also compatible with biomagnetic separation and optional vacuum filtration modules for bead-based assays. LHC2 computer software (with optional 21 CFR Part 11 compliance) and integration with BioStack/BioSpa 8 automation make the instrument suitable for both standalone and integrated-line operation.
