The LumiStat 4900 is a semi-automated microwell strip reader designed for chemiluminescence ELISA assays. Using photomultiplier tube technology, it detects luminescence signals and automatically calculates results. The Auto-Track™ feature enables sequential automatic reading of 3 strips, saving valuable time in routine laboratory workflows.

The instrument accommodates both 8 and 12-well opaque strips through its 3-position breakable strip carrier design. Without requiring manual sample plate positioning, the device automatically positions the plate, discriminates empty wells, reads results, and performs calculations.
