Atago PAL-HIKARi 51 Portable IR Brix Meter for Corn

The PAL-HIKARi 51 is Atago's corn-specific infrared (IR) type portable pocket refractometer. By simply touching the device to the sample without removing cobs or kernels, it measures sugar content at 9.0-20.0% Brix range with ±2.0% accuracy.

Unlike traditional methods requiring cob removal, kernel separation, and crushing, this device employs a non-contact/simple contact principle, minimizing sample loss. With temperature compensation at 20.0-35.0°C, it delivers reliable results under field conditions. Powered by 2 AAA alkaline batteries and rated IP64, it withstands field and storage environments.
