The BioTek MultiFlo FX is a laboratory instrument that combines microplate washing with multi-mode reagent dispensing on a single platform. Designed for laboratories requiring ELISA automation, cell washing/media exchange, bead-based assays, and bulk reagent distribution.

The instrument features an 8-channel manifold for washing 96- and 384-well plates; specialized manifold options are available for 6-, 12-, 24-, and 48-well plates. Wash cycles are adjustable from 1–10, with aspiration and soak times programmable up to 60 minutes. On-board software enables creation, editing, and execution of multiple protocols, while computer control is managed through LHC2 Software; optional 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and SiLA driver support are available.

Two USB ports enable protocol storage/transfer and external mouse/keyboard connections. MultiFlo FX is compatible with BioStack and third-party automation systems; integration with BioSpa 8 Automated Incubator enables complete workflow automation. Continuous operation is supported with a 2-liter reagent bottle.
