Behr Labor Technik InKjel 475M Infrared Rapid Wet Digestion Unit

Behr Labor Technik InKjel 475M is an infrared rapid wet digestion unit designed for laboratories performing Kjeldahl nitrogen/protein determination. It enables simultaneous digestion of 4 samples using 750 ml glass vessels and delivers results in shorter timeframes compared to conventional heating block systems.

The unit features high-performance infrared heaters that provide uniform heating across all sample positions; since glass vessels are suspended in the rack, breakage risk is significantly lower than with aluminum block systems. With manual power adjustment (0-100%), the digestion process is completed at standard 380°C or 450°C in approximately 55 minutes, enabling rapid sample preparation with minimal energy consumption.

The InKjel 475M is employed in food, agricultural, feed, and environmental laboratories during the sample preparation stage for Kjeldahl nitrogen determination, and is a member of the InKjel series available in varying capacities (4, 6, or 12 sample models).
