Atago PR-32α Digital Refractometer (0-33 Brix)

The Atago PR-32α is a digital hand refractometer designed for quality control teams requiring rapid and precise Brix concentration measurement in fruit juices, beverages, and food products. Operating within the 0.0–32.0% Brix range with ±0.1% accuracy, it provides more consistent readings compared to analog refractometers.

The device features a digital display that reduces eye strain and minimizes reading errors. The User-Scale function allows operators to input custom coefficients, enabling the definition of specialized concentration scales for various liquid matrices, making it possible to perform multiple applications with a single instrument. Battery operation (006P 9V) facilitates field deployment and in-line production monitoring with independent mobility.

Important operational considerations: the instrument does not incorporate automatic temperature compensation or IP65 ingress protection. Therefore, measurements must be performed within the specified 5–40°C operating window, and contact with moisture or liquid spray should be avoided.
