Atago PEN-PRO 3730 is a digital handheld refractometer that enables single-instrument measurement across a broad Brix range, from low-concentration liquids to high-concentration samples. Its ability to measure samples up to 100°C eliminates cooling wait times during production, allowing immediate in-process concentration verification.

The instrument offers operational flexibility through dual measurement modes: immersion mode (tip submerged in liquid samples) for fluid measurements, and contact mode (prism surface touching sample) for viscous samples such as yogurt and jam. This dual-mode architecture provides practical versatility for measuring both thin and thick-consistency products like soups and sauces.

Note: The PEN-PRO 3730 does not feature IP65 water protection or automatic temperature compensation; therefore, ambient temperature stability should be maintained during measurement and the instrument should have limited exposure to moisture and water.
