Atago PAL-59S Zinc Sulfate Refractometer

The PAL-59S is a digital handheld refractometer designed to rapidly and repeatably measure zinc sulfate concentration in the 0.0-20.0% range. With just 2-3 drops of sample, results are obtained in 3 seconds—significantly reducing measurement time compared to conventional manual methods used in quality control processes.

Manufactured by ATAGO, this instrument delivers reliable measurements with 0.1 Brix resolution and ±0.2% accuracy. Its IP65 water resistance rating enables confident use in demanding production environments such as manufacturing lines. At 100 grams with compact dimensions (5.5×3.1×10.9cm), it offers excellent portability for both field and laboratory applications. Powered by 2×AAA batteries, the unit requires no external power source or complex installation, enabling measurement anywhere.

The device is capable of temperature measurement within the 10.0-40.0°C range; however, automatic temperature compensation is not available. Therefore, temperature variations must be manually accounted for when taking measurements at different ambient conditions.
