The Atago PAL-12S is a digital handheld refractometer specifically calibrated for measuring dextran aqueous solution concentration. With a measurement range of 0.0-15.0% (g/100g) and ±0.2% accuracy, it delivers rapid and reproducible results in laboratory environments.

The instrument operates with just 2-3 drops of sample, providing significant sample conservation when working with valuable or limited quantities of prepared dextran solutions. Measurement is completed in approximately 3 seconds with results displayed directly on the digital display. IP65 protection rating ensures the device is resistant to water and dust contamination, providing safe operation against liquid splashing on the laboratory bench.
