3M™ Neogen® Petrifilm® Rapid Yeast and Mold Count Plates are pre-prepared test plates designed for rapid quantification of yeast and mold colonies in food production environments and samples, delivering results faster than conventional agar-based methods. These ready-to-use plates save laboratory time by eliminating media preparation and pouring steps for quality control and microbiology laboratories.

The specialized membrane structure on the plates restricts colony spreading and overlapping, facilitating accurate colony enumeration and improving result readability. Samples can be applied via air sampling, swabbing, or direct surface contact; incubation for 48-72 hours yields quantitative (numerical) results. The product is validated under OMA #2014.05 and NF VALIDATION (3M 01/13-07/14) certifications.

Available in 50-count (6475) or 500-count (6477) packaging options, allowing laboratories to select the appropriate kit size based on sample volume requirements. Storage temperature: -20°C to 8°C.
