ClearBand 10x PBST, pH 7.4 – Western Blot and ELISA Wash Buffer

ClearBand 10x PBST is a balanced phosphate-buffered saline solution containing Tween 20, specifically formulated for use in western blotting and ELISA procedures. It is employed in membrane or plate washing steps without compromising antibody-antigen binding interactions. Supplied as a ready-made concentrated form in the laboratory, it eliminates the need for buffer preparation at each use and ensures consistency between experiments.

Because the product is free of calcium and magnesium, it does not cause unwanted interactions in cell-based applications. It is supplied as a 10x concentrate and must be diluted to 1x working solution prior to use; the 1x formulation contains 0.05% Tween 20. ClearBand PBST is prepared with ultrapure water, filter-sterilized, and autoclaved, which reduces the risk of microbial contamination.
