The Stat Fax 4200 is a semi-automated microplate reader designed for ELISA testing in clinical biochemistry, veterinary, and food safety laboratories. Operating in the 340–750 nm wavelength range with a monochromatic photometer system and rapid scanning capability of 96 wells in approximately 10 seconds, it accelerates routine test workflows.

The instrument features a user-friendly interface with a touch-sensitive LCD screen and USB mouse support; an open system with user-defined protocols enables creation of diverse assay protocols. With ±1% photometric accuracy and drift not exceeding 0.005 A in 8 hours, it delivers stable results during extended measurement sessions. Multiple calculation modes—including single-point calibration, linear/sigmoidal regression, and polynomial regression—accommodate various ELISA kit protocols.

Lacking a built-in wash head, manual washing is required; therefore it functions as a semi-automated analyzer rather than a fully automated system.
