The Biotek Synergy Neo2 is a hybrid multimode microplate reader used across a broad range of applications from ELISA and enzyme binding assays to high-throughput screening (HTS). With proprietary Hybrid Technology, it combines filter and monochromator-based optics in a single instrument, delivering both high sensitivity and flexibility in a unified platform.

The reader supports multiple detection modes including UV-Vis absorbance, fluorescence intensity, luminescence, fluorescence polarization, time-resolved fluorescence, and Alpha. It accommodates microplates ranging from 6 to 1536 wells, and supports Take3 Micro-Volume Plates for micro-volume nucleic acid and protein quantification. Four-zone incubation up to 65°C with optional CO2/O2 control provides a suitable environment for live cell assays.

The Gen5 software enables data analysis and secure data management compliant with 21 CFR Part 11. The reader integrates seamlessly with automation systems such as BioStack and BioSpa 8.
