Solution 18 is an AO (Acridine Orange) and DAPI-based staining reagent used in Chemometec NC-250 cell counting instruments. Acridine Orange stains all live and dead cells to enable total cell enumeration, while DAPI stains only dead cells. The dual-dye system allows NucleoView software to automatically calculate total cell count, dead cell count, live cell concentration, and viability percentage.

The product is used with NC-Slide A2 or NC-Slide A8 slides for Viability and Cell Count Assays. The 1 ml volume is designed for rapid and reliable cell counting and viability measurement in cell culture laboratories.
