SENSIStrip Egg White LFD Test Kit

Food safety and allergen detection, particularly concerning prevalent allergens such as egg white, is of paramount importance. The SENSIStrip Egg White test has been specifically developed to identify the presence of egg white proteins in food products and sanitation control processes. The test operates on the immunoassay principle, enabling the detection of samples containing egg white proteins. Upon placement of the sample into a reaction vial containing biotinylated antibodies specific to egg white proteins, incubation is performed at room temperature for three minutes. The test strip is then inserted into the vial, and as the sample migrates through the nitrocellulose membrane via capillary forces, gold nanoparticles conjugated with streptavidin are released. This interaction produces an antibody-gold complex. In positive samples, a red line appears in the test line area as the liquid reaches this zone, whereas in negative samples, no line is visible. In all cases, a red control line appears above the test line area, indicating test validity. Results are evaluated five minutes after test initiation.
