3M™ Neogen® L25EGG Egg White Allergen Kit – Rapid Detection Test

The 3M™ Neogen® L25EGG Egg White Allergen Kit is a qualitative immunochromatographic lateral flow test (LFD) designed to screen for the presence of egg white protein residues in food products, ingredients, clean-in-place (CIP) final rinse water, and environmental swabs. This rapid detection kit employs specific antibodies targeting egg white proteins, delivering results within 11 minutes. Positive results are visualized through the appearance of three lines: a control line (confirming proper test function), an anchor line, and a test line, indicating detection at concentrations ranging from approximately 2 ppm (lower limit) to 1.6 mg/mL (upper limit) in saline solution (0.9% sodium chloride). Detection limits may vary depending on the matrix being tested. Samples containing more than 5% egg white may exhibit suppressed anchor and/or test line formation, potentially resulting in invalid test outcomes.
