Atago PR-60PA Digital Refractometer – Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) Concentration Meter

Atago PR-60PA is a digital Palette series refractometer specifically designed to measure isopropyl alcohol (IPA) concentration. It is used in cleaning solutions, disinfection applications, printing damping solutions, and electronics manufacturing where accurate monitoring of IPA ratio is critical.

The instrument measures in the 0.0–60.0% (W/W) range and offers 0.1% resolution. Accuracy varies by concentration: ±0.5% in the 0–30% range, ±0.8% near 40%, and widens to ±1.6% as it approaches 60%; careful attention to these accuracy windows is recommended for high-concentration measurements. The 10–35°C temperature compensation range enables measurement under varying environmental conditions.

The distinctive pink housing design allows this instrument to be easily distinguished from other Palette series refractometers (e.g., those for different measurement applications), preventing confusion in laboratory or production line environments where multiple refractometers are in use. Only a drop or two of sample is required, with results obtained at the press of a button.

The instrument does not feature IP65 ingress protection; careful handling is necessary in moist or wet environments.
