BioTek Lionheart FX is an automated imaging microscope for both fixed and live-cell assays. It delivers fluorescence, brightfield, high-contrast brightfield, color brightfield, and phase contrast imaging modes in a single integrated system; operational with air objective magnifications up to 60x and oil immersion objectives at 60x and 100x.

The system features 6 user-interchangeable objective turrets and 4 swappable fluorescence filter cubes. A 16-bit grayscale Sony CMOS camera combined with a lead-screw-driven X/Y stage with 0.1 µm resolution ensures precise and repeatable image capture. Optional environmental control enclosure enables incubation up to 40°C, and with an optional gas control module, supports %0-20 CO2 and %1-19 O2 control, facilitating extended live-cell imaging experiments.

Gen5 software automates image capture, processing, and analysis; optional Gen5 Image/Image+ modules provide advanced image analysis capabilities. Compatible with microplates ranging from 6 to 1536 wells, plus microscope slides, petri dishes, cell culture flasks (T25, T75), and other laboratory vessels. Applicable to cell migration/invasion assays, immunofluorescence, phenotypic profiling, and histology applications.
