Atago RX-5000α Automatic Digital Refractometer – Integrated Thermostat

The RX-5000α is ATAGO's Alpha series automatic digital refractometer featuring an integrated thermostat module, eliminating the requirement for external water bath operation. It provides a compact and practical solution for technicians performing Brix and refractive index measurement in food, beverage, and chemical laboratories.

The instrument measures within 0.000–100.00% Brix and 1.32700–1.58000 nD ranges, delivering laboratory-grade results with 0.00001 nD resolution and ±0.00004 nD accuracy. The integrated temperature control system operates within 5–60°C with 0.01°C resolution, reducing measurement errors caused by sample temperature variations.

RS-232C connectivity supports computer or ATAGO printer connection, facilitating data logging and report generation. Compact dimensions (37×26×14cm, 6.4kg) suit space-limited laboratory environments. Note: This model does not feature IP65 protection or automatic temperature compensation; the Plus series is recommended if these features are required.
