Atago PR-201α (Cat. No. 3452) Digital Handheld Refractometer

The Atago PR-201α is a digital handheld refractometer capable of measuring in the 0.0-60.0 Brix range. It is engineered for the analysis of high-sugar-concentration samples including jams, marmalades, and concentrated fruit juices. This instrument provides a practical solution for food production and quality control laboratory personnel requiring rapid Brix measurements.

The device features a user scale function that enables direct concentration display through coefficient input, allowing results without additional calculations for specialized sample types where standard Brix reading is insufficient. With ±0.1% accuracy and 0.1% resolution, it delivers reliable results for routine Brix measurements. Automatic temperature compensation within the 10-40°C range ensures accurate measurements across varying ambient temperatures.

Powered by a 006P 9V dry cell battery, the instrument weighs 270g with dimensions of 17×9×4cm, making it suitable for field use and laboratory bench transport. Note: The device does not feature IP65 protection rating; it should be used in protection from humid or dusty environments.
