Atago DR-M2/1550 Multi-Wavelength Abbe Refractometer

The DR-M2/1550 is a Multi-Wavelength Abbe Refractometer capable of measuring refractive index and Abbe number across an extended wavelength range from 450nm to 1550nm. Beyond standard visible region measurements, it enables characterization of fiber optic and telecom components at 1550nm, making it suitable for optical material development, fiber optic manufacturing, and telecommunication R&D laboratories. The instrument provides broader spectral coverage than the standard DR-M2 model; 1550nm measurement is not supported in the standard version. The refractive index measurement range varies by wavelength; at 1550nm, the measurement range is 1.2662-1.6759. The instrument lacks IP65 protection and temperature compensation; therefore, a controlled measurement environment is recommended.
