3M™ Petrifilm® Rapid Aerobic Count Plates – Ready-to-Use Aerobic Bacterial Count System

3M™ Petrifilm® Rapid Aerobic Count Plates is a ready-to-use culture medium system developed to accelerate aerobic microorganism enumeration in food and beverage production, environmental hygiene monitoring, and microbiology laboratory applications. The system eliminates conventional agar pouring and media preparation steps, allowing direct incubation immediately after sample application to the plate.

While traditional agar plate methods require multiple days for results, this system enables quality control teams and laboratory managers to implement corrective actions without production delays. The target microorganism is aerobic bacteria; the plate's compact design requires less storage space compared to standard petri dishes.

The product is manufactured by 3M™ Neogen® and is available in 50-count and 500-count per box packaging options, allowing laboratories of varying sample volumes to select packages according to their operational requirements.
