JSR JSCB Series Class II Laminar Flow Cabinet (Biological Safety Cabinet)

The JSR Instruments JSCB series is a Class II Type A2 biological safety cabinet designed for microbiology and cell culture work, simultaneously providing personnel, product, and environmental protection. The system features a graphic LCD display-equipped digital microprocessor control panel that manages fan speed, UV lamp, and LED illumination from a single interface.

The cabinet draws room air through the intake grille and directs it through a negative pressure plenum to the blower, creating HEPA-filtered laminar airflow over the work surface. Approximately 70% of the filtered air is recirculated within the cabinet while 30% is exhausted through an exhaust HEPA filter; this design protects both the sample and operator. HEPA filters deliver 99.993%-99.995% efficiency for 0.3 µm particles, with optional ULPA filtration achieving 99.999% efficiency for 0.12 µm particles.

The removable 304 stainless steel work surface, epoxy powder-coated SPCC cabinet body, and 3-degree angled front glass sash provide an ergonomic, easily cleanable work environment. Features include an adjustable UV sterilization timer, HEPA filter change counter/alarm, and UV-fluorescent lamp safety cutoff, ensuring safe, low-maintenance operation. Supplied with a wheeled base stand for easy laboratory repositioning.

The cabinet is available in four working width options—900SB, 1200SB, 1500SB, and 1800SB—to accommodate varying workspace requirements.
