SCC-Cassette™ is a single-use disposable cassette specifically designed for somatic cell enumeration on the ChemoMetec NucleoCounter SCC-100 instrument. The cassette features propidium iodide (PI) fluorescent dye pre-immobilized within internal flow channels; when approximately 60 µl of sample is loaded, the PI dissolves and stains cell nuclei, enabling accurate and rapid cell counting.

This cassette provides a practical solution for operators in the dairy industry and similar applications requiring somatic cell enumeration. The single-use design eliminates cross-sample contamination risk and accelerates the analytical workflow by reducing manual dye preparation and pipetting steps. The cassette is designed for use with Reagent C and is compatible exclusively with the SCC-100 instrument.
