Atago RX-9000α Automatic Digital Refractometer

The RX-9000α is ATAGO's fully automatic digital refractometer model offering an ultra-wide measurement range. With a refractive index range of 1.29980–1.71500 nD and an internal Peltier thermoelectric module, it is utilized for analyzing challenging samples such as high-melting-point oils, solid fats, aromatic oils, and organic solvents that standard refractometers cannot measure.

The instrument is suitable for laboratory applications requiring precise measurement with high accuracy levels of ±0.00004 nD (up to 1.42009 nD) and 0.00001 nD resolution. Peltier temperature control in the 5–70°C range ensures consistent measurement of temperature-sensitive samples.

The fully automatic measurement mechanism minimizes operator-related errors and delivers reproducible results. It supports printer and computer connectivity via RS-232C, facilitating data recording and analysis processes. It is a preferred system for analyzing challenging samples in the chemical, cosmetic, perfumery, and food industries.
