Atago PAL-56S Potassium Sulfate Refractometer

The PAL-56S is a digital handheld refractometer manufactured by Atago and specifically calibrated to measure the concentration and temperature of potassium sulfate (K₂SO₄) aqueous solutions. It is used for concentration monitoring in fertilizer production, agricultural application control, and related chemical processes.

The instrument performs measurements across the 0.0-15.0% K₂SO₄ range with ±0.3% accuracy, requiring only 2-3 drops of sample and approximately 3 seconds measurement time. Thanks to its IP65 water resistance rating, it can be safely used in both field and laboratory environments. Its compact size (5.5×3.1×10.9 cm, 100g) and AAA battery operation enhance portability.

Note: The instrument does not feature automatic temperature compensation, therefore measurements must be performed within the specified 10-40°C operating temperature range, and results should be evaluated accordingly.
