The PAL-Easy ACID181 Master Kit is a digital acidity meter from Atago designed to measure acetic acid concentration in vinegar and vinegar-based products. It operates on the principle of electrical conductivity and offers a rapid, clean measurement alternative to reagent-dependent methods such as titration.

Device usage is straightforward: simply apply the sample to the measurement surface and press the START button; results are displayed on the digital screen in approximately 3 seconds. The meter provides ±0.10% acetic acid accuracy in the 0.50–1.00% range and ±10% relative accuracy in the 1.01–12.0% range, making it suitable for measuring products with varying acid levels, including apple vinegar, grape vinegar, and balsamic vinegar.
