The Testo 816-1 is an ideal instrument for occupational, industrial, and environmental noise measurements. With a single button press, the measurement mode can be switched from Slow (1 s) to Fast (125 ms). Frequency weighting can also be toggled between A and C characteristics with one touch during frequency analysis. A-weighting represents the frequency response of the human ear, while C-weighting covers low-frequency sounds. The integrated data logger stores over 30,000 measurement values on the device and can be managed via software. The software also enables continuous online measurements over extended periods. With the optional sound calibrator and integrated calibration screwdriver, the Testo 816-1 can be recalibrated on-site.
