Petrifilm® Environmental Listeria Plates are ready-to-use test media developed to detect Listeria presence on production surfaces and environmental swabs. The system enables food safety and sanitation teams to obtain results in significantly shorter timeframes compared to conventional culture methods.

The plate contains selective agents and chromogenic indicators in a pre-formulated growth medium, eliminating the need for additional enrichment and transfer steps. The medium supports development of Listeria species, including Listeria monocytogenes. The appearance of Listeria innocua colonies serves as confirmation that environmental conditions are conducive to Listeria growth, supporting preventive sanitation decisions.

The product carries AOAC® Performance Tested Methods℠ (PTM #030601) certification, demonstrating validated performance for environmental sample analysis. Available in 50-plate and 200-plate pack options to accommodate both small-scale and large-scale laboratory requirements.
