Microgen® Latex Agglutination Tests – Bioproducts Rapid Pathogen Verification Kit

Microgen® Latex Agglutination Tests are designed for rapid verification of suspected bacterial colonies growing on selective media in clinical and food microbiology laboratories. As an alternative to traditional biochemical identification tests (coagulase, esculin hydrolysis, GLC, toxin detection, etc.), these kits reduce turnaround time to minutes.

The product family is offered as separate kits for eight different pathogens: Salmonella Rapid Test provides high sensitivity across motile/non-motile serotypes; Listeria and Clostridium difficile Rapid Tests verify suspected colonies in approximately 2 minutes; Staphylococcus aureus Rapid Test evaluates coagulase and Protein A combination; E. coli O157 Rapid Test is validated against 161 different O serotypes and 56 H serotypes; Legionella Rapid Test differentiates numerous Legionella species and serogroups; Campylobacter Rapid Test covers major clinically relevant species; Streptococcus Rapid Test can differentiate serogroups A, B, C, D, F, and G.

Each kit is designed to reduce laboratories' routine verification workload and shorten turnaround time. Package quantities vary by test as 50 or 100 tests per kit.
