The LabSen®333 is a 3-in-1 pH/temperature combination electrode backed by proprietary Swiss pH sensor technology and materials. This temperature-compensated pH electrode is specifically designed to test wastewater, emulsions, suspensions, and samples containing proteins and sulfur compounds. (This is a replacement probe for the Apera Instruments SX811-WW Portable pH Meter for Wastewater).

The LabSen features a distinctive blue hemispherical glass membrane—delivering faster response time, superior reproducibility, and exceptional durability against mechanical shock. This robust design stands in stark contrast to fragile traditional glass bulb membranes.

Equipped with a long-life reference system comprising a glass tube, AgCl, and silver reference wire. The upper end of the fine glass tube is packed with cotton to prevent reactions between AgCl and electrolyte during temperature fluctuations, significantly enhancing reference electrode stability and extending electrode service life.

The solid polymer electrolyte maintains direct contact with test samples, offering pressure resistance up to 6 bar—ideal for suspended solids and wastewater testing. No more frustrating clogged junctions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the LabSen®333 compatible with other pH meter brands?
No. While compatible with Apera Instruments counters (PH700, SX823-B, MP511, PH800, PC800), it will not work with other brand meters due to potential temperature unit incompatibilities.
What makes the hemispherical glass membrane better than traditional designs?
The blue hemispherical membrane offers faster response time, superior reproducibility, and exceptional mechanical durability. Unlike fragile traditional glass bulb membranes, it resists impact and mechanical shock effectively.
How does the polymer electrolyte prevent junction clogging?
The solid polymer electrolyte eliminates the problematic junction points found in traditional designs. Its pressure resistance up to 6 bar makes it ideal for testing suspensions and wastewater without blockage issues.
What is the temperature compensation range?
The electrode operates from 0–80 °C (32–176 °F) with automatic temperature compensation via the internal NTC 30KΩ sensor.
How long is the cable?
The electrode comes with a 1-meter cable fitted with a BNC/RCA connector.
