PolyStainer automates standard slide staining procedures, relieving laboratory personnel from labor-intensive manual staining operations. Designed for general microbiology and histology laboratories, the system provides a practical solution for teams seeking to reduce staining workload.

Up to 20 microscope slides are loaded per basket; a robotic arm submerges and agitates slides in four replaceable reagent wells. After each basket is rinsed, a fifth, replaceable rinse water well ensures water renewal and prevents cross-contamination. In the final stage, slides can be dried using a heated or unheated fan.

The staining chamber is physically separated from the electronic and mechanical assemblies; this design prevents high-oxidative reagents from contacting electronic/mechanical components, enhancing durability. All staining procedures are initiated by a single touch, enabling walkaway operation without requiring personnel to remain at the instrument.

Stainless steel (AISI 304) baskets and basket holders, combined with polyethylene reagent containers, provide chemical resistance. With 10 programs and 10 steps per program, different staining protocols can be saved and reused.
