KK models feature ultrasonic humidifiers suitable for plant and fungal cultivation, seed germination, and food testing. KKS models use steam humidifiers, do not emit ultrasonic frequencies (allowing insect breeding such as Drosophila melanogaster), and support a wider temperature range (0°C to +100°C) and humidity coverage. KKS is preferred for electronic, plastic, and building material testing.
What type of water should be used?
The KK500 ultrasonic model requires deionized water (<1µS/cm conductivity). The system includes a deionized water reservoir, or you may connect an internal deionized water network or ion exchanger for continuous supply.
What is included with the unit?
The KK500 includes a deionized water container, collection container for drainage, and drainage system. Optional LED lighting system (FIT version) is available for day-night light cycle applications.
