Binder MKT240 Dynamic Climate Chamber (-70°C / +180°C)

The Binder MKT240 is a humidity-controlled dynamic climate chamber operating across an extended temperature range from -70°C to +180°C. It is widely used in materials testing laboratories, automotive and electronics product development units for cyclic thermal and environmental simulation testing.

The chamber delivers precise and reproducible test results with temperature uniformity of 0.1-1.0 K and temperature fluctuation of 0.1-0.4 K. With average heating rates of 5.0 K/min and cooling rates of 4.2 K/min, the chamber can transition from 180°C to -70°C in approximately 95 minutes, enabling rapid thermal shock and cyclic testing protocols. The unit operates on 3~/N/PE three-phase power with a nominal rating of 6.5 kW and 16 A circuit protection, suitable for industrial laboratory deployment.

The interior chamber volume (200-299 litres) is constructed from stainless steel and comes standard with 1 shelf, expandable up to 6 shelves maximum. Integrated humidity control capability allows test protocols to simultaneously control both temperature and relative humidity parameters during cyclic testing.
