Atago PAL-08S Seawater Baumé Refractometer

The Atago PAL-08S is a digital handheld refractometer specifically designed for measuring seawater salinity on the Baumé scale. It provides a practical and rapid solution for salt production facilities, maritime operations, and chemical industries requiring concentration monitoring.

The instrument completes measurements in approximately 3 seconds using only 2-3 drops of sample and provides automatic temperature compensation across the 10-40°C range. This enables faster results compared to traditional hydrometers, requires minimal sample volume, and eliminates the effects of temperature fluctuations. With IP65 protection rating, the PAL-08S operates reliably in wet and demanding field conditions; its 100-gram weight and compact design enhance portability.
