10x PBS is one of the most frequently used buffers in cell culture and molecular biology laboratories. This product can be diluted to working concentration and used for cell washing, tissue sample transport, cell dilution for counting, and reagent preparation.

The product is free of calcium and magnesium; therefore, when used prior to trypsinization, it does not interfere with chelators and does not compromise cell dissociation protocols. It is prepared with ultrapure water, sterile filtered, and autoclaved, thereby minimizing contamination risk.

With a pH value of 7.4 close to physiological pH, it is suitable for cell washing and dilution procedures while maintaining cell viability. It can also be used in Western blotting applications for membrane washing and preparation of antibody dilution buffers. The 10x concentrated format provides users with dilution flexibility based on working volumes and saves storage space.
