MycoSep® and MultiSep® columns contain concentrated adsorbent material mixtures specifically designed for all food and feed products. MycoSep® provides single-stage purification in 30 seconds by inserting the cleanup column directly into a test tube containing sample extract, forcing the extract through the column's concentration material while interferences bind to the chemical concentrator. MultiSep® column format enables single-stage purification of sample extracts containing the target analyte in 30 seconds by applying the sample extract to the top of the column, with interferences adhering to the chemical concentrator and purified extract collected in an appropriate container.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between MycoSep® and MultiSep® columns?
MycoSep® columns are inserted directly into sample extract tubes for in-tube purification, while MultiSep® columns use a top-application method where sample is applied to the column top and purified extract is collected in a separate container.
How long does the purification process take?
Both MycoSep® and MultiSep® systems complete single-stage purification in 30 seconds.
What types of samples can be analyzed?
These columns are designed for use with all food and feed products, including grains, nuts, dried fruits, and manufactured feed materials.
How do the adsorbent materials work?
The concentrated adsorbent material mixtures selectively bind matrix interferences while allowing target mycotoxin analytes to pass through for detection.
Can multiple mycotoxins be detected simultaneously?
Yes, specific column variants such as AflaPAT (Aflatoxins + Patulin) and AflaZON (Aflatoxins + Zearalenone) enable multi-toxin analysis in a single purification step.
