Frequently Asked Questions

What is the measurement principle of the DVR 2pro?
The DVR 2pro employs a heated ceramic diaphragm (alumina) capacitive pressure sensor for absolute pressure measurement of gases across its measuring range.
How long does the 9V battery typically last?
The standard 9V alkaline battery provides approximately 4,000 hours of operation. In standby mode, battery life extends to approximately 30,000 hours.
Can the pressure units be changed?
Yes, the DVR 2pro allows user selection of pressure units: mbar, hPa, or Torr, eliminating the need for manual unit conversions.
What operating temperature range is recommended?
The optimal ambient temperature range for operation is 10–40 °C. For storage, the device tolerates temperatures from -10 – 60 °C.
Is the DVR 2pro suitable for harsh laboratory conditions?
Yes, all wetted components are constructed from advanced chemically resistant materials, enabling reliable operation under rigorous laboratory environments.
