Atago NAR-2T-LO Abbe Refractometer (High Temperature & Low Refractive Index)

Atago NAR-2T-LO is an Abbe refractometer that combines the high-temperature capability of the NAR-2T series with a low refractive index measurement range. It delivers measurements across 1.1500-1.4800 nD at temperatures from 5-120°C with an accuracy of ±0.0002 nD. These specifications make it well-suited for low-index and high-temperature samples that fall outside the measurement range of standard refractometers.

The instrument employs an LED (D-Line) light source and enables nF-nC dispersion calculation through a conversion table. The minimum scale interval is 0.001, preserving the classical visual-reading design principle of a traditional Abbe refractometer.

For laboratories working with low refractive index fluids, solutions, and high-temperature test specimens, this instrument offers a practical specialized solution. Note that it lacks IP65 protection and automatic temperature compensation, so environmental conditions and manual temperature monitoring must be planned accordingly.
