Atago NAR-2T-UH Abbe Refractometer (Ultra-High Refractive Index)

The NAR-2T-UH is Atago's high-index and high-temperature model in the NAR-2T series. With a wide refractive index range of 1.7000 to 2.0800 nD and measurement temperature capability of 5-120°C, it is used for analysis of high-index crystals and specialized optical materials that standard refractometers cannot measure.

The instrument delivers precise measurement with ±0.0002 nD accuracy and 0.001 minimum scale division. It uses an LED (D-Line) light source and provides nF-nC dispersion calculation capability via reference tables. The unit does not feature IP65 protection or automatic temperature compensation; therefore, careful temperature control during measurement is essential.

It is particularly suited for laboratories requiring high-temperature crystal growth processes, specialized glass and optical material development work, and characterization of high-index specimens.
