The Poleko photoperiod system is an optional lighting module that can be integrated into ILW and STW series cooled incubators. Through daylight-type (840) lamps placed inside the chamber and control software, day and night illumination conditions are programmed and simulated.

The system is offered in different models containing 2 to 15 lighting elements depending on incubator capacity (ST/FOT2, ST/FOT4, ST/FOT6, ST/FOT8, ST/FOT10, ST/FOT15, and IL/FOT2S and higher for ILW series); each model is specifically designed for a particular cabinet size (ST 1, ST 2, ST 3, ST 4, ST 5, ST 500, ST 700, ST 1200/1450, etc.). Lamps are installed on the chamber ceiling or side walls; in multi-chamber models (e.g., ST 2/2, ST 3/3), individual lighting control per chamber is possible.

This option is suitable for laboratories conducting plant physiology, seed germination, photoperiodic behavior, and light-sensitive organism studies. Models with the automatic defrost (PLUS) option are also available.
