The Novatek AL-MFI series is a laboratory instrument designed to determine the melt flow rate (MFR) and volumetric flow rate (MVR) of thermoplastic raw materials and recycled granules. It simulates the processability of plastic feedstock and melt flow behavior—a key molecular weight indicator—under standard load and temperature conditions.

The device is available in three model options: AL-MFI-A performs melting point testing only, AL-MFI-B measures flow rate and melting point simultaneously, and AL-MFI-O provides fully automatic measurement with an automatic weight loading module and reporting software. The tungsten carbide orifice and cylinder are manufactured with micron-level tolerances for high-precision measurement.

It delivers reliable results for material quality control and batch comparison in plastic recycling facilities, raw material suppliers, and polymer R&D laboratories.
