Atago PAL-BX|ACID12 Master Kit – Asian Pear Brix-Acid Meter

The PAL-BX|ACID12 Master Kit is a hybrid handheld device from Atago that integrates refractometry for Brix measurement with electrical conductivity principle for acidity measurement. It measures quality indicators such as sugar content, malic acid, and sugar/acid ratio in Asian pears and related products without titration or reagent consumption—all with a single touch.

The instrument is optimized for precise results in the ultra-low acidity range (0.05–2.00%), delivering clear digital readings for low acid levels that are difficult to detect by titration methods. The measurement procedure is straightforward: place the sample (diluted with water if necessary) in the sample chamber and press the START button; results are obtained in approximately 3 seconds.

With IP65 protection rating and a compact 100 g body, it is suitable for field conditions such as orchards, storage facilities, and processing plants. Powered by 2×AAA batteries and requiring no glass components, it eliminates breakage risk.
