Atago PAL-BX|SALT Digital Handheld Brix and Salt Refractometer

The Atago PAL-BX|SALT is a hybrid handheld refractometer that combines optical Brix measurement with salt concentration measurement in one instrument. It enables single-measurement monitoring of both sugar/dry matter and salt content in sauces, brines, pickled products, preserves, and similar food items. With IP65 protection rating, it can be safely used in humid and dusty production environments. In addition to its 0-95 Brix measurement scale, the device features a salt measurement mode; however, lacking temperature compensation, sample temperature must be controlled for measurement consistency. The product is available in different variants such as PAL-BX SALT and PAL-BX SALT+5; measurement ranges and accuracy values may differ between these models—specific variant specifications should be verified before ordering.
