The Atago 2993 Master-20PM is a hand-held refractometer that delivers fast and reliable Brix measurements in the 0.0% – 20.0% Brix range. Its plastic housing makes it lightweight and ergonomic; accurate measurement requires only 2-3 sample droplets.

This model is an entry-level Master series instrument without temperature compensation or IP65 protection. Therefore, it is well-suited for laboratory and workshop environments operating at stable room temperature (10-30°C) where water splash risk is minimal. With ±0.2% accuracy and 0.2% resolution, it provides sufficient precision for Brix monitoring in fruit juices, syrups, jams, and similar products.

If your application requires field operation in humid/wet environments or temperature-variable conditions, consider upgraded Master series models with IP65 protection or automatic temperature compensation (2991, 2992).
